A TRUE HEARTBREAKER IN JAPAN.

I can not even put it together in my mind what it must be like that you are going to die sooner rather than later.

Three weeks ago, there week 50 workers at Fukushima, that were leading normal lives. Just like you and me.Then on 3.11.11 a 9.0 level earthquake hit northern Japan. 30 minutes later, a massive tsunami hit the same region of Japan. As phones and electrical power were immediately lost,  the workers at Fukushima could not relay their impending problems to the powers that be.

Over the past three weeks, the "Fukushima 50" as they are referred to, have been battling aftershocks, fires, explosions and constant exposure to extremely high levels of radiation. they know their fate. They know that as they have been working around the clock for three weeks trying feverishly to stabilize a severely crippled nuclear power plant, their lives were gravely at risk.

These 50 heroes have a very bleak uncertain future ahead of them. For the most part they have sacrificed their lives so others could live. If this power plant would suffer meltdowns in 4 of the 6
units, I'm not sure what kind of devastating effect that would have on Japan, or the world.

That's why these 50 people did what they did, they put their Country and the world ahead of themselves in an attempt to save lives.

I hope these people are wrong, although the 50 people still trying to secure the power plant have accepted that they will die soon from radiation sickness or if long term from cancer.

God Bless Them..............

Sen. Chuck Schumer D-NY : keep your big mouth shut ! ! !

This guy is really getting aggravating. He pulls a Joe Biden moment, and starts babbling in front of an open mike. What a jackass. He has his talking points and uses them constantly.

If the Government enter a stalemate in on April 8th, he has all ready blamed the Republicans for the shutdown....and it didn't even start yet !

What does that tell you. It tells me that Mr. Shumer knows his party is to blame, and if lie about something over and over again, people will start to believe it !

The Democrats are the ones who won't budge on this issue. The simple idea of spending cutting any kind of spending, is making Democrats.

Now Mr. Schumer's new tactic is to group Republicans with the Tea Party and call both groups extremeist. I think you have this one backwards Mr. Schumer, The DEM's are the extremist.

$500 MILLION SPENT SO FAR IN LIBYA, AND OUR COUNTRY IS BROKE ?

I was your average kid in High School, my curriculum was vocational, so I didn't take any fancy math classes like trigonometry or calculus. I really don't think I need that kind of math to understand we are in three wars as of today and if you want to count the border war with Mexico, that's four.

This, at best, is Democratic Fuzzy Math, an extremely complicated form of math only taught in highly secret Democratic circles. It was created by none other that financial and ecological guru Former V.P. Albert Gore, also inventor of the Internet.

How in God's green earth can we fight four wars, (Iraq, Afghanistan, Mexico[border drug war], and Libya.) We don't even have a budget for 2011 and the debt ceiling is maxed. Congress is the Master of rob Peter to pay Paul, but Peter has broke since 2008 !

B.H.O. really better get a grip here soon ! Show this Country some true leadership. This Country can not keep spending money like it's growing on trees. The only war we need to be involved in is the Border war with Mexico. We need to bring our sons and daughters home from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya......NOW ! ! !

B.H.O. : A FOLLOWER , NOT A LEADER.................

It's sad, a country as strong and proud a the United States, only real Super Power left in the world, could or would elect such a weak Follower not a Leader.

After taking a good beating from the Press, (very unusual) B.H.O. finally responded to the
humanitarian crisis in Libya .He passed the buck to the U.N. For the tongue-tied White House, this was a joint tactic. Now the President must act.

The White House more than likely expected a stalemate, which would have allowed them to do nothing..

David Brooks of the New York Times, wrote a column  questioning B.H.O."S motives He discounted the idea that the President was caving in to political expediency, noting that that was not like B.H.O.

I do not agree..issue after issue B.H.O.has flip flopped according to the poll numbers of the day.Take offshore drilling, against it when chumming with the tree huggers, for it while under pressure to create jobs, against it again during the Deepwawater Horizon oil spill and for it again when gasoline prices started to spike. B.H.O. is pinched and squeezed by every political calculation.

B.H.O. is so  out of touch with mainstream America, that he can't follow his own convictions. It would be political suicide if he did. The  few times he tried this, speaking from the gut, he would end up in trouble.

When he spoke about the U.S.as being exceptional, only to the extent that citizens elsewhere viewed their there nations in the same light, B.H.O.manifested a serious disconnect with most Americans' pride in their Country.

When B.H.O goes off script, he has raised red flags with middle Americans. the sa people he needs to win re-election in 2012.(no wonder he sleeps with his Tele-prompter.) This is why  he depends on polling and political  calculus for guidance.

Unfortunately, this means our Country is today rudderless. We do not have a strong foreign policy, but instead jump from one approach to the next, depending on the administration's read of public opinion.

Sadly, B.H.O.'S dependence on political calculus also leads to stalemate in trying to solve our nations budget problems-a possibly more damaging arena. B.H.O. had called for a bipartisan commission to offer up ways we could stop the flow of red ink either the problem or the recommended solutions.

Even B.H.O.'s Democratic colleagues have complained that he will not lead..He won't, because tackling our unsustainable long-term entitlements is dangerous. The only way this White House will take on this budget battle.is if voters across the land demand progress.

I believe the people of this Country demonstrated their demand for progress last November !

GODSPEED, GERALDINE !.......YOU WILL BE MISSED.

As a dyed in the wool Conservative Republican, I did not support the Mondale/Ferraro ticket in 1984. although nit was fun watching history being made. For the first time in U.S. History, there was a woman on the Presidential Ticket.

Now most people were probably taken aback by this, me on the other hand, found it quite intriguing. I might be a Constitutional Conservative, I try to have an open mind when the situation presents itself.

Ms. Ferraro brought spark to the campaign, It would be hard to argue that President Reagan was a shoe in to win a second term, so Ms. Ferraro gave the campaign some energy it would not have had without her.

America has lost a true American Icon. As my prayers go out to her family today, I want to thank Rep.Geraldine Ferraro D-NY for her contributions she gave to her Country and to women in general.

I believe that we will have a woman President some day, and when we do we will all be thinking of Geraldine. !  As I said before, Godspeed, Geraldine !

OBBAMASCARE STRATGEY MAY COST OBAMA RE-ELECTION

With all the false assumptions put into delaying OBAMASCARE, all the smoke and mirrors could end up costing him his re-election.

President Obama tried using one old trick of political wisdom, pushing off the least appealing elements of OBAMASCARE until after the 2012 election.

But on OBAMASCARE'S one year anniversary of passage into law, this savvy, cynicl,  gambit is looking less intelligent. B.H.O and the DEM"s frontloaded the bill with goodies such as, young adults staying on their parents healthcare until age 26, free money for senior's drug bills.

The DEM'S and B.H.O. thought all the controversary would vaporize once voters saw there was little to fear from a plan that was famous for cutting Medicare, increasing taxes and rationing care.

This plan basically lulled formerly skeptical independents into possibly helping re-elect B.H.O.

As B.H.O.'S re-election efforts get underway, though, the shrewdness of backloading all of the most controversial and expensive parts of this plan look dubious for a few reasons.

First, while the economy is barley improving, it's still shaky, B.H.O. hasn't been able to lay claim to progress. B.H.O.'S jobs plan with new spending on railroads and green energy programs was D.O.A . in the newly divided and dept-conscious C.ongress. Although the PR push was still seenas a campaign ploy for B.H.O.'S re-election campaign.

The false assumption here is one familar to most presidential administrations. The White House has the bully pulpit ,but administrations overestimate their ability to "drive the discussion." Incumbent presidents have many advantages at election time, but the big disadvantage is they can't run on promises and must run on records. The second proplem with the delayed implementation of OBAMASCARE is the uncertainy it has sewn.

THE REPUBLICANS FINALLY SEE THE "LIGHT".

Buyers beware, the 60 cent 100 watt incandescent light bulb, will be replaced by a $3.40 fluorescent more energy efficient bulb om 01.01.12. keep in mind the new bulbs are supposed to last 6 to 10 times longer, but the new bulbs do have some issues.

The first thing I want  to point out here is the Government is making decisions for us again, force feeding us these bulbs to us whether we like them or not. There are actually Republicans on the Hill that trying to overturn the Energy  Idependence and Security Actof 2007.

U.S. Rep.Joe Barton R-TX, sais the new bulbs pose a health risk beecausethey contain a small amount of mercury. The EPA has posted a list of clean-up instructions, in case one of the new bulbs breaks.

A clean-up list for a light bulb ? Here it is :

* have people and pets leave the room.

* air out the room for 5-10 minutes.

* shut off heatjng/or A/C system.

* be through cleaning up glass and visible powder.

* place clean-up material in a sealable container.

* put all bulb debris and clean-up materials outdoors in a trash containeror protected area.

*continue to air out the room where the bulb was broken.

* leave the heating/or A/C system shut-off for several hours

WOW ! all this if  you break a light bulb, which the Government says is better for you !

I'm going to go out and round up as many of the old bulbs I can get my hands on.

Sen.Claire McCaskill D-Mo, EVER HEAR OF TURBO TAX ! ! !

Just when I thought I was running out of things to blog about. A Democrat comes to my rescue !
There is only so much you can write about when it comes to Japan, then Middle East, Tax fiasco's Etc.
people get tired of reading the same old stuff.

Then comes Sen. Claire McCaskill, a woman who is not shy when it comes to speaking her mind, she was quoted as saying in her 2006 bid for senate "If my walk doesn't match my talk, then shame on me and don't ever vote for me again."

OUCH !....  I think she bit herself in the butt on that one !

Her tax debacle all centers around a plane her and her MILLIONAILE husband own, seems they owe the Government  $287,273 in taxes on the plane. That's the amount of taxes she has failed to pay on the plane.

Now keep in mind that the Senator was a one time auditor, so to save face she have taken full responsibility for the slip up, very good idea !

She also reimbursed the Federal Government $89,000 for 89 flights she took on her plane and billed to the taxpayers. HOW NICE !

My question is and always will be, how much of this crap goes on that we don't know about.

I hope the people in Sen.McCaskill's district have the courage and common sense to vote her out of office in 2012. She has abused her office and needs to pay the price for it ! KICK HER OUT !

Thank you Sen. Claire McCaskill for the fresh news to blog about !

JAPAN : A VERY STRONG WILLED NATION

As our prayers continue to go out to the citizens of Japan, none of us know what the true outcome will be of the triple disaster they suffered 10 days ago. One can only wonder what these people are really going through.

The suffering and the uncertainty has to be borderline unbearable. Thank God Japan is not a weak nation. They are probably one of the strongest willed nations on earth. They are a proud, hard working nation that's not afraid to get their hands dirty.

It will take them some time, and some real elbow grease........they will get the job done.

My biggest worry is the nuclear devastation that they face. Drinking water sources are contaminated, also some of the food that they grow is being compromised. I'm sure with help from it's world neighbors, they will get this issue resolved too.

Japan has rose from the ashes before, I know they can do it again.

FINALLY, SOMEBODY GETS IT !

I could not believe the entire city of Washington D.C. was a sleep.

Rep. Mike Ross D-Arkansas has helped introduce a resolution calling on the White House to re-start off shore drilling.

I can't believe a Democrat thought of this before a Republican !

I hope B.H.O takes this resolution seriously, we have all ready lost 12 drilling rigs, they moved to Brazil. How many more rigs do we need to lose until B.H.O. realizes 400,000 jobs are at risk here,  that's a lot of jobs to hand to another country.

B.H.O. has another idea, really designed for a true emergency, which we will have eventually if he doesn't start leading this county. B.H.O. wants to open this countries Strategic Oil Reserves. The reserve holds 727 million barrels of oil, which would equal two months of driving. To tap into the reserve at this point would not have a huge long term effect on the U.S.

Unless this country wants to spend $5-$8 on a gallon of gasoline, we all better start pressureing  Washington D.C. to start drilling for oil here at home. On land, off shore, in Alaska.  If we don't, we will be facing a situation we don't waant to face.
