Panel: U.S. Wasted $60B In Iraq, Afghanistan Wars

This is how I get myself in trouble,.............with myself.

I know that sentence didn't make much sense, but let me explain.

When Bush # 43, Pres. George W. Bush sent troops to Iraq, I understood it would be a long war, I supported him all the way. Afghanistan I was a bit lukewarm with that boondoggle.I just felt we were really headed into another Vietnam. No end game.

Now we come to learn that up to $60 BILLION was wasted in fraud and waste !

C'mon D.C., what the hell are you doing to us, the average American citizen. I do my blog from a Public Library now because I'm fighting for my life to get Social Security Disability Insurance. It's been three years now. I lost my home, my car, the apartment I obtained after I lost my house, sold most of my personal belongings and now I'm in a Homeless Shelter.

Am I mad ? I get down now and then. It's when I read articles where the Government is pissing away OUR money, our meaning the taxpayers.

The Government's lame excuse is : due to lax oversight of contractors, poor planning and corruption, according to an independent panel.

BULLSHIT ! ! !

It is high time the Government starts taking responsability for itself. Right here is a perfect example of why we NEED a SMALLER, LEANER Government.

Here's the best part, (actually the worst part,) the $60 B figure will grow to $360 B by the end of 2011 !

Here is a real eye opener : FOX NEWS REPORTED THAT The Afghan insurgency's second largest funding source after the illegal drug trade is the diversion of money from U.S.-backed construction projects and transportation contracts, according to the commission. But the report does not say how much money has been funneled to the insurgency. The money typically is lost when insurgents and warlords threaten Afghan subcontractors with violence unless they pay for protection, according to the report.

Our Government needs to grab the bull by the horns and fix this...... NOW ! ! !

Don't be suprised if you see a homeless guy from Pennsylvania's U.S.19th District. House of Represenitives RUNNING FOR CONGRESS ! ! !

Wisconsin Union Fight Simmers, as Republicans Barred From Labor Day Parade.

Well, it looks like a group of WWisconsin Union Members are giving a whole new meaning to the term "Labor Day."

This not so friendly group of Wisconsin Unions have barred Republicans from attending a local Labor Day Parade, as payback for controversial collective bargaining legislation earlier this year, leading one congressman to call for an end to the "petty" disputes.

Talk about holding a grudge! WOW, I thought I was bad.

This isn't the first time the Socialists Union Protesters have showed their true colors. The Union protesters have even threatened to mount a Recall campaign against Gov.Scott Walker.

The Marathon County Central Labor Council, a coalition of unions which sponsors the parade in Wassau, Wis., reasoned that lawmakers hostile to their cause should not be at the parade

"Asking the demonstrators for a little show of civility is probably a waste of ink," the editorial board wrote. "But we'll still do it.

I think the Union leaders should come together as adults and allow the people who want to be in the parade, allow them in it.

"A TALE OF TWO REAGANS" OR Where Have All the Reagan Republicans Gone?

Up until this point in time, I thought Fmr.Pres. George W. Bush was the bad guy the DEM'S went after. He is for all practical purposes, the DEM'S whipping boy. (And thank God  W. just ignores them.)

Now I have stumbled across an article and I can't for the life of me figure out if it's a pro or anti Reagan article.

The article questions whether today's GOP line up Is trying to mimic Pres. Reagan's politics or his persona.

The article  from 2003 in the "Weekly Standard" referred to" Reagan's Liberal Agenda."

WHAT! ! ! !

Joshua Green wrote in this article that Pres. Reagan did more for the Liberal Agenda than for the Conservative movement.

A seperate article also states that Pres.Reagan raised taxes 11 times !

The article I received my material for this blog, which may have some merit to it, I'm not quite sure, came fresh from a Liberal Think Tank, " MOVEMENT VISION LAB."

I'm covinced of one thing, FOX NEWS is very fair and balanced.

Unions Ramp Up Political Efforts as Labor Issues Take Center Stage

Here we go again, I was waiting form the Big Unions to step into the Political picture. Th right to work issue is the centerpiece of the Unions platform.

"Right to Work " states allow shops to either allow Unions or not allow them. "Forced Union States" don't allow shops the option to allow or not allow Unions.

Forced Union states have lost more jobs as "Right to work states" have had an increase in hiring.

Natureally, The Unions like the Forced Union idea, It makes their job easier for them.

Former Gov. Mitt Romney is giving in to the Right to work crowd. Personally I think any Union is a bad idea. Unions increase the price of goods made here in America.

I think that Unions had there place in history they just don't fit todays business model.

Let's save the Union issue for another day.

Tea Party Mourns Death of Philly Cheesesteak Legend

It has happened to everyone of us, you try to call a business and you get "press 1 for English or press 2 for Spanish. I have no problem with the Latino Culture, I dated a Pureto Rican woman when I was divorced.

What has my tizzy in a tizzy is most Latinos don't want to learn English, and the ones that do still use Spanish.

LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH IF YOU WANT TO LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY ! ! !

Well back in 2006, a Philadelphila businessman put it all on the line. Joey Vento put a sign in the window "This is America, When Ordering Please Speak English ! "

The sign created a controversy that spread Nationwide.

I am saddened to announce that last Tuesday, Joey Vento passed away at age 71. He was a common man who fought for something alot of us believe in.

The Independence Hall Tea Party Association released a statement describing him as a "great friend of the conservative cause and the Tea Party movement."

The sign prompted a discrimination complaint -- which was later dismissed -- but as Vento fought it he emerged in the media as somewhat of a conservative pundit.

The Independence Hall Tea Party Association had named him their "Patriot of the Year" in 2011.

I had always wanted to go to Geno's Steaks in Philly to meet Joey and shake his hand and buy a cheesesteak.

Day to day life keeps us from stopping and smelling the flowers along the way, or in this case the cheesesteaks. Joey might be gone, although I believe if you walk into Geno's today, you would feel the Liberty that Joey fought so hard for.

Godspeed Joey Vento...................

"ONE CHILD PER FAMILY," V.P. JOE BIDEN UDERSTANDS IT ?

Ya know, V.P. Biden has had a gaff or two along the way. We laugh and then we go on with our daily lives.

Today is different.

By condoneing the policy put in effect  nearly three years ago, Biden is saying yes to the gruesome tatics the communist country has enacted, such as forced sterlizations, stiff fines if you dare ignore the system, the list goes on.

Former Gov.Mitt Romney said in a statement,"Vice President Biden should have condemned it in the strongest possible terms."

."Vice President Biden's acquiescence to such a policy should shock the conscience of every American.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, called China's policy "gruesome and barbaric" and questioned how Biden could have given it a pass.

It's really hard to say what will come out f the mouth of The V.P.'S mouth, I just wish he would use B.H.O.'S tele-prompter every now and then.

GOV.RICK PERRY SHUFFLES THE DECK, CHANGES OUTLOOK FOR MITT ROMNEY & MICHELLE BACHMANN

You have to admit, we all saw this one coming. As soon as the top guy in Texas threw his hat into the ring, the GOP contenders would have to re-invent their strategies.

I believe the addition of Gov.Rick Perry will give the GOP the much needed boost that everyone was looking for. Unless you are B.H.O.

The GOP needed somebody fresh, someone with an impeccable resume'.Mitt Romney has a lot of baggage. I'd vote for him if he makes it to the end of the primaries. I like his business background.

Rep. Michelle Bachmann is a fresh face everyone should be taking seriously. She has the Tea Party in her back pocket. Question is can she win over the hard core Conservatives. Time will tell.

Their is something about Gov. Rick Perry that says, yea I'd vote for him. I voted for Pres. George W.Bush
twice. He was a good President, although he did spend a lot. of money, too much for my liking.

Now I know Pres.Bush #43 and Gov.Rick Perry are two completely different people with different ideas.
But there are actually people in this country that Gov.Perry and Pres Bush #43 share the same Ideas.

WAKE UP PEOPLE !!!

Gov. Perry is his own man with his own ideas. If nothing else, he should have learned from Pres.Bush's mistakes. And i'm sure he has.

It will be interesting what the next 15 months brings.

Weekly Jobless Claims Climb to 408,000

I really try to be a "glass half full " kind of guy. Even in these tougher than tough times we are living in, I try very hard to find the  good in D.C.

As the number of jobless climbs, I know at least one guy that believes times are getting better.

You guessed it, B.H.O.

It's too bad he doesn't see that consumer confidence has taken a  nose dive, along with how people feel he is handling the economy.

The rise in jobless claims, which took them just above the 400,000 threshold, is unlikely to change perceptions that the economy will dodge another downturn. Claims below the 400,000 mark are usually associated with a stable labor market.

Then there is the Stock Market. This rollercoaster is better than any you have dared to get on at any amusement park.

As I am writing this, the DJIA has fallen another 500 points ! I know it could recover by the end of the day, and I hope it does.

It's the fact that that the distance between the swings that should have everyone a little bit edgy.

There are economist that believe the Dow could fall below 7000. Go I have posted and see what you think.

HE JUST DOESN'T GET IT !, AND HE PROBABLY NEVER WILL...........

At a stop in Minnesota, B.H.O. tried to make light of the term "OBAMACARE", I call it "OBAMA$CARE." What he doesn't realize is, OBAMACARE is sarcasim pointed directed at him !

This dunderhead is taking it as a compliment, or at least I think he is. It was a slang word created soley to attach him to the draconian medcical health plan he sert into motion.

The way it looks, he will be a one term President. If true OBAMACARE will die on the vine. If I'm wrong, look out ! Medical coverage in this country will be changed forever, and not for the better.

I know , because I have experienced first hand what OBAMACARE will be like.

Hopefully B.H.O. is a one term President. Or things might get very ugly.

BY WINNING THE STEAW POLE IN IOWA, REP. BACHMANN EARNS TOP-TIER STATUS

I figured she would do very well, but winning the straw pole in Iowa yesterday, proved she is a force to be reckoned with.

I have been following here in the press for quite some time now. For full disclosure, I was following her on FOX NEWS, which is my choice for the most accurate news reporting.

From the get go I like her political views. She's a Republican with a Tea Party slant to her.I see her as very genuine. And best of all, she is closely aligned with Gov. Rick Perry R-Texas.

FOX NEWS quoted her as saying "We just sent a message that Obama will be a one-term president," Bachmann told her cheering supporters outside of her bus. Bachmann cast her victory as a "down payment on taking our country back."

I like that.

I seriously believe that Rep.Bachmann and Rick Perry are going to give Former Gov. Mitt Romney a huge run for his money.

I predict the closer we get to the end of the primaries Rep. Bachmann and Gov. Perry will have their own little rivalry going on. It will be clean though, because the two have lots of respect for each other.

I said it before and I stand by it, it will be a Perry / Bachmann ticket. A guy can dream, cant he ?
