IS THE TEA PARTY BIGGER THAN B.H.O. ? ? ?

It is a  part of history that the Tea Party propelled The Republican Party to success in 2010. Question is, are they going to carry the water for the GOP in 2012 ?

My prediction is that the Tea Party is going to organize as a third political party, and take a good run at B.H.O. all on their own.

My sense is that the Tea Party is not getting the bang for their buck out of the Republicans. The Republicans are doing business as usual.

By the time the election process for 2012 gets going, I believe that the Tea Party will have organized itself, weakening both the DEM"S and the GOP.

What could really make this happen is the current weakness of the two major parties.

The GOP has two problems right now. The Dept Ceiling and the 2011 Budget Boondoggle.

 If the GOP blinks and gives the DEM'S an increase in the Debt Ceiling, they are done. They can't win in 2012 if they don't have the stones to stand up to the Dem's and prevent a rise in the Debt Ceiling.

Second, they must hold an increase in Federal Spending in both the 2011 budget, which they are fighting over now, AND the 2012 budget which they will be fighting over real soon, or they lose 2012.

The DEM'S have two problems in their camp. A.) Themselves and B.) B.H.O.
If the keep doing business as usual, which they will, they didn't get it in 2012, they won't win in 2012. B.) B.H.O. is a one term President.

 He thought the citizen's of the United States were ready to put the Constitution in FILE 13, He was so wrong. He tried to force Socialism on this country and that backfired. He and the DEM'S will lose in 2012.

This, my friends is why a Tea Party supported, Dick Armey/Sarah Palin ticket will be on the ballot. May the best THIRD PARTY WIN ! ! !

CHOICES : GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN OR MORE DEFICIT SPENDING

Do you remember when you were a kid, and your brother or sister would take a situation where one of you were going to get punished, and they would magically turn the story on you so you took the hit and they dodged the bullet.

This is the time honored tactic the Democrats use on the Republicans, and some how the American public buys into it, just about every time, just like mom or dad did with your sibling.

The Republicans want to implement deep cuts in the Federal spending for the 2011 budget,  (which should have been completed last year).

 The Democrats want no part of  this, so they will drag their feet, nothing will get done, (just like last year), and there will be a Government Shutdown., blamed on the Republicans and created by the Democrats, DRAGGING THEIR FEET !

Why do the American people put up with this !

I say let their be a shutdown, only this time the Republicans have to educate the American public as to what is really happening. They (the Republicans) are trying to cut Federal spending and the Democrats didn't want to play ball. They sat on their hands and a Gov't Shutdown ensued.

It's time the American people know the truth, and the Democrats are exposed for who they are. Big Budget Bureaucrats !

NOTHING LASTS FOREVER...................

Including B.H.O's campaign promises !

Now don't get me wrong, I am in no way, shape or form endorsing Unions.
Unions go against everything I believe in, like having the ability to produce competitively priced products Made in the U.S.A. and actually selling those products here.

Back to broken promises.

Back in 2007, while campaigning in South Carolina, B.H.O said he was proud to wear the "Union Label" and that if workers were denied rights to organize or collectively bargin when he was elected, "I'll put on a pair of comfortable shoes myself, I'll walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States.

I bet the Secret Service would have loved that !

Now I'm glad he broke this promise, that gives him plenty of time to stay in D.C. and work on REAL problems, like the Budget, the Debt Ceiling, Unemployment, Etc.

Maybe he realized his Union buddies just were not worth the fight, or the waste of Secret Service money, a taxpayer's expense.

B,H.O. was giving plenty of lip service when he told a local reporter in Wisconsin the collective bargaining issue in the Badger State seemed like "an assault on Unions". I wonder if he meant all Unions. Unions is plural.

B.H.O.'s Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett seemed to think that what's happening in Wisconsin is not a national fight". Let's not turn a Wisconsin issue into a Washington issue."

That's what Ms. Jarrett told Fox News Tuesday night.

Here's a MEMO to the White House : This Union issue has gone Viral. It is spreading like a California wildfire, and that's a good thing !

WHAT WOULD J.R. EWING DO ???

He would drill for oil in his back yard, THAT'S WHAT HE WOULD DO! ! !

The United States has a problem, OK maybe more than one.

12.20.75, I was 16 years old, passed my drivers license exam that day and was legal to drive. Pretty fun day. Gasoline was approximately 50-60 Cents @ gallon. I could fill my VW BUG for $5.00 !

The United States had the same problem the day I recieved my drivers license, it has today.

Only today that same problem cost us about $3.19 @ gallon a mile from my house.

The problem is we depend on the rest of the world for a precious resource
we have right here in our own country. We buy oil all over the world.

Unfortunately the bulk of it is purchased from a reigon of the world that wants to vaporize each other, and they have the means to do it.

The Middle East is not the place to be right now for vacation, or for any reason for that matter. The Iranians just took a cruise up the Suez Canal. The last time they made a trip up the Suez Canal was not to take Isreal overdue holiday gifts.

Oil has reached over $100.00 @ barrel. It has not be that high since Oct.'08.
There is going to come a time when oil is going to hit $150-$200 @ barrel and not come down.

I hope by the time that happens, we have a President and some Politicans that will IGNORE the TREE HUGGERS and start drilling for oil in this country.
Drill everywhere, off the coasts, Pacific, Gulf, Atlantic. Drill out west, lot's of oil out west and also Alaska, more oil there than anywhere.

If we don't do this sooner rather than later, AND I REALLY MEAN SOONER,
THE POLITICANS WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO AFFORD TO GO TO WORK !

Talk about Government shutdown !

There aren't many if any people in my social circle  that could afford $8.00-$10.00 for a gallon of gas, could you ?

WASHINGTON D.C. I HOPE YOU CAN HEAR ME, LET'S START DRILLING FOR OIL,HERE, IN THE U.S.

We don't have a consumption problem, WE HAVE A DRILLING PROBLEM ! ! !

George Soros : The most Dangerous man in the world.

Let's face it, Money is Power, and George Soros has way too much of both.

He has all ready brought down the economies of four countries in the world, and if you look real close , I believe he's slowly working on ours.

For this out of control clown to call Fox News, Glenn Beck & Rupert Murdock Nazis is really funny !

George Soros is by far the biggest Uber-Liberal, Progressive, Socialist-Communist walking the Earth. Thus making him the most dangerous man in the world.

His Idea of a perfect world would be for the world to  have a centralized government. Can you say Adolph Hitler ?

Some how this Transformer needs to be stopped dead in his tracks, but with all that money and power, how do you do it.

There's only one way, unfortunately it's illegal.

This country has to wake up and realize we have a threat right here in our own country, that wants to destroy the Great Nation our Founding Fathers had built for us.

Given the chance, George Soros would shred the Constitution right in front of our eyes.

It was on this day, 2.22.1732, 279 yrs. ago that our first President was born. In honor of that, I am posting his first Inaugural Address :

A Transcription

[April 30, 1789]

Fellow Citizens of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Among the vicissitudes incident to life, no event could have filled me with greater anxieties than that of which the notification was transmitted by your order, and received on the fourteenth day of the present month. On the one hand, I was summoned by my Country, whose voice I can never hear but with veneration and love, from a retreat which I had chosen with the fondest predilection, and, in my flattering hopes, with an immutable decision, as the asylum of my declining years: a retreat which was rendered every day more necessary as well as more dear to me, by the addition of habit to inclination, and of frequent interruptions in my health to the gradual waste committed on it by time. On the other hand, the magnitude and difficulty of the trust to which the voice of my Country called me, being sufficient to awaken in the wisest and most experienced of her citizens, a distrustful scrutiny into his qualifications, could not but overwhelm with dispondence, one, who, inheriting inferior endowments from nature and unpractised in the duties of civil administration, ought to be peculiarly conscious of his own deficiencies. In this conflict of emotions, all I dare aver, is, that it has been my faithful study to collect my duty from a just appreciation of eve ry circumstance, by which it might be affected. All I dare hope, is, that, if in executing this task I have been too much swayed by a grateful remembrance of former instances, or by an affectionate sensibility to this transcendent proof, of the confidence of my fellow-citizens; and have thence too little consulted my incapacity as well as disinclination for the weighty and untried cares before me; my error will be palliated by the motives which misled me, and its consequences be judged by my Country, with some share of the partiality in which they originated.

Such being the impressions under which I have, in obedience to the public summons, repaired to the present station; it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official Act, my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the Universe, who presides in the Councils of Nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that his benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the People of the United States, a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes: and may enable every instrument employed in its administration to execute with success, the functions allotted to his charge. In tendering this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own; nor those of my fellow-citizens at large, less than either. No People can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand, which conducts the Affairs of men more than the People of the United States. Every step, by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation, seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency. And in the important revolution just accomplished in the system of their United Government, the tranquil deliberations and voluntary consent of so many distinct communities, from which the event has resulted, cannot be compared with the means by which most Governments have been established, without some return of pious gratitude along with an humble anticipation of the future blessings which the past seem to presage. These reflections, arising out of the present crisis, have forced themselves too strongly on my mind to be suppressed. You will join with me I trust in thinking, that there are none under the influence of which, the proceedings of a new and free Government can more auspiciously commence.

By the article establishing the Executive Department, it is made the duty of the President "to recommend to your consideration, such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient." The circumstances under which I now meet you, will acquit me from entering into that subject, farther than to refer to the Great Constitutional Charter under which you are assembled; and which, in defining your powers, designates the objects to which your attention is to be given. It will be more consistent with those circumstances, and far more congenial with the feelings which actuate me, to substitute, in place of a recommendation of particular measures, the tribute that is due to the talents, the rectitude, and the patriotism which adorn the characters selected to devise and adopt them. In these honorable qualifications, I behold the surest pledges, that as on one side, no local prejudices, or attachments; no seperate views, nor party animosities, will misdirect the comprehensive and equal eye which ought to watch over this great assemblage of communities and interests: so, on another, that the foundations of our National policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality; and the pre-eminence of a free Government, be exemplified by all the attributes which can win the affections of its Citizens, and command the respect of the world.

I dwell on this prospect with every satisfaction which an ardent love for my Country can inspire: since there is no truth more thoroughly established, than that there exists in the oeconomy and course of nature, an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness, between duty and advantage, between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy, and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity: Since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained: And since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of Government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.

Besides the ordinary objects submitted to your care, it will remain with your judgment to decide, how far an exercise of the occasional power delegated by the Fifth article of the Constitution is rendered expedient at the present juncture by the nature of objections which have been urged against the System, or by the degree of inquietude which has given birth to them. Instead of undertaking particular recommendations on this subject, in which I could be guided by no lights derived from official opportunities, I shall again give way to my entire confidence in your discernment and pursuit of the public good: For I assure myself that whilst you carefully avoid every alteration which might endanger the benefits of an United and effective Government, or wh ich ought to await the future lessons of experience; a reverence for the characteristic rights of freemen, and a regard for the public harmony, will sufficiently influence your deliberations on the question how far the former can be more impregnably fortified, or the latter be safely and advantageously promoted.

To the preceeding observations I have one to add, which will be most properly addressed to the House of Representatives. It concerns myself, and will therefore be as brief as possible. When I was first honoured with a call into the Service of my Country, then on the eve of an arduous struggle for its liberties, the light in which I contemplated my duty required that I should renounce every pecuniary compensation. From this resolution I have in no instance departed. And being still under the impressions which produced it, I must decline as inapplicable to myself, any share in the personal emoluments, which may be indispensably included in a permanent provision for the Executive Department; and must accordingly pray that the pecuniary estimates for the Station in which I am placed, may, during my continuance in it, be limited to such actual expenditures as the public good may be thought to require.

Having thus imported to you my sentiments, as they have been awakened by the occasion which brings us together, I shall take my present leave; but not without resorting once more to the benign parent of the human race, in humble supplication that since he has been pleased to favour the American people, with opportunities for deliberating in perfect tranquility, and dispositions for deciding with unparellelled unanimity on a form of Government, for the security of their Union, and the advancement of their happiness; so his divine blessing may be equally conspicuous in the enlarged views, the temperate consultations, and the wise measures on which the success of this Government must depend.

For the first time, an inauguration ceremony was held on the terrace of the West Front of the Capitol. Chief Justice Warren Burger administered the oath of office to the former broadcaster, screen actor, and Governor of California. In the election of 1980, the Republicans won the White House and a majority in the Senate. On inauguration day, American hostages held by the revolutionary government of Iran were released.

Senator Hatfield, Mr. Chief Justice, Mr. President, Vice President Bush, Vice President Mondale, Senator Baker, Speaker O'Neill, Reverend Moomaw, and my fellow citizens: To a few of us here today, this is a solemn and most momentous occasion; and yet, in the history of our Nation, it is a commonplace occurrence. The orderly transfer of authority as called for in the Constitution routinely takes place as it has for almost two centuries and few of us stop to think how unique we really are. In the eyes of many in the world, this every-4-year ceremony we accept as normal is nothing less than a miracle. 1

Mr. President, I want our fellow citizens to know how much you did to carry on this tradition. By your gracious cooperation in the transition process, you have shown a watching world that we are a united people pledged to maintaining a political system which guarantees individual liberty to a greater degree than any other, and I thank you and your people for all your help in maintaining the continuity which is the bulwark of our Republic. 2

The business of our nation goes forward. These United States are confronted with an economic affliction of great proportions. We suffer from the longest and one of the worst sustained inflations in our national history. It distorts our economic decisions, penalizes thrift, and crushes the struggling young and the fixed-income elderly alike. It threatens to shatter the lives of millions of our people. 3

Idle industries have cast workers into unemployment, causing human misery and personal indignity. Those who do work are denied a fair return for their labor by a tax system which penalizes successful achievement and keeps us from maintaining full productivity. 4

But great as our tax burden is, it has not kept pace with public spending. For decades, we have piled deficit upon deficit, mortgaging our future and our children's future for the temporary convenience of the present. To continue this long trend is to guarantee tremendous social, cultural, political, and economic upheavals. 5

You and I, as individuals, can, by borrowing, live beyond our means, but for only a limited period of time. Why, then, should we think that collectively, as a nation, we are not bound by that same limitation? 6

We must act today in order to preserve tomorrow. And let there be no misunderstanding—we are going to begin to act, beginning today. 7

The economic ills we suffer have come upon us over several decades. They will not go away in days, weeks, or months, but they will go away. They will go away because we, as Americans, have the capacity now, as we have had in the past, to do whatever needs to be done to preserve this last and greatest bastion of freedom. 8

In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem. 9

From time to time, we have been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. But if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else? All of us together, in and out of government, must bear the burden. The solutions we seek must be equitable, with no one group singled out to pay a higher price. 10

We hear much of special interest groups. Our concern must be for a special interest group that has been too long neglected. It knows no sectional boundaries or ethnic and racial divisions, and it crosses political party lines. It is made up of men and women who raise our food, patrol our streets, man our mines and our factories, teach our children, keep our homes, and heal us when we are sick—professionals, industrialists, shopkeepers, clerks, cabbies, and truckdrivers. They are, in short, "We the people," this breed called Americans. 11

Well, this administration's objective will be a healthy, vigorous, growing economy that provides equal opportunity for all Americans, with no barriers born of bigotry or discrimination. Putting America back to work means putting all Americans back to work. Ending inflation means freeing all Americans from the terror of runaway living costs. All must share in the productive work of this "new beginning" and all must share in the bounty of a revived economy. With the idealism and fair play which are the core of our system and our strength, we can have a strong and prosperous America at peace with itself and the world. 12

So, as we begin, let us take inventory. We are a nation that has a government—not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the Earth. Our Government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed. 13

It is my intention to curb the size and influence of the Federal establishment and to demand recognition of the distinction between the powers granted to the Federal Government and those reserved to the States or to the people. All of us need to be reminded that the Federal Government did not create the States; the States created the Federal Government. 14

Now, so there will be no misunderstanding, it is not my intention to do away with government. It is, rather, to make it work—work with us, not over us; to stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. 15

If we look to the answer as to why, for so many years, we achieved so much, prospered as no other people on Earth, it was because here, in this land, we unleashed the energy and individual genius of man to a greater extent than has ever been done before. Freedom and the dignity of the individual have been more available and assured here than in any other place on Earth. The price for this freedom at times has been high, but we have never been unwilling to pay that price. 16

It is no coincidence that our present troubles parallel and are proportionate to the intervention and intrusion in our lives that result from unnecessary and excessive growth of government. It is time for us to realize that we are too great a nation to limit ourselves to small dreams. We are not, as some would have us believe, doomed to an inevitable decline. I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing. So, with all the creative energy at our command, let us begin an era of national renewal. Let us renew our determination, our courage, and our strength. And let us renew our faith and our hope. 17

We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we are in a time when there are no heroes just don't know where to look. You can see heroes every day going in and out of factory gates. Others, a handful in number, produce enough food to feed all of us and then the world beyond. You meet heroes across a counter—and they are on both sides of that counter. There are entrepreneurs with faith in themselves and faith in an idea who create new jobs, new wealth and opportunity. They are individuals and families whose taxes support the Government and whose voluntary gifts support church, charity, culture, art, and education. Their patriotism is quiet but deep. Their values sustain our national life. 18

I have used the words "they" and "their" in speaking of these heroes. I could say "you" and "your" because I am addressing the heroes of whom I speak—you, the citizens of this blessed land. Your dreams, your hopes, your goals are going to be the dreams, the hopes, and the goals of this administration, so help me God. 19

We shall reflect the compassion that is so much a part of your makeup. How can we love our country and not love our countrymen, and loving them, reach out a hand when they fall, heal them when they are sick, and provide opportunities to make them self-sufficient so they will be equal in fact and not just in theory? 20

Can we solve the problems confronting us? Well, the answer is an unequivocal and emphatic "yes." To paraphrase Winston Churchill, I did not take the oath I have just taken with the intention of presiding over the dissolution of the world's strongest economy. 21

In the days ahead I will propose removing the roadblocks that have slowed our economy and reduced productivity. Steps will be taken aimed at restoring the balance between the various levels of government. Progress may be slow—measured in inches and feet, not miles—but we will progress. Is it time to reawaken this industrial giant, to get government back within its means, and to lighten our punitive tax burden. And these will be our first priorities, and on these principles, there will be no compromise. 22

On the eve of our struggle for independence a man who might have been one of the greatest among the Founding Fathers, Dr. Joseph Warren, President of the Massachusetts Congress, said to his fellow Americans, "Our country is in danger, but not to be despaired of.... On you depend the fortunes of America. You are to decide the important questions upon which rests the happiness and the liberty of millions yet unborn. Act worthy of yourselves." 23

Well, I believe we, the Americans of today, are ready to act worthy of ourselves, ready to do what must be done to ensure happiness and liberty for ourselves, our children and our children's children. 24

And as we renew ourselves here in our own land, we will be seen as having greater strength throughout the world. We will again be the exemplar of freedom and a beacon of hope for those who do not now have freedom. 25

To those neighbors and allies who share our freedom, we will strengthen our historic ties and assure them of our support and firm commitment. We will match loyalty with loyalty. We will strive for mutually beneficial relations. We will not use our friendship to impose on their sovereignty, for our own sovereignty is not for sale. 26

As for the enemies of freedom, those who are potential adversaries, they will be reminded that peace is the highest aspiration of the American people. We will negotiate for it, sacrifice for it; we will not surrender for it—now or ever. 27

Our forbearance should never be misunderstood. Our reluctance for conflict should not be misjudged as a failure of will. When action is required to preserve our national security, we will act. We will maintain sufficient strength to prevail if need be, knowing that if we do so we have the best chance of never having to use that strength. 28

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have. It is a weapon that we as Americans do have. Let that be understood by those who practice terrorism and prey upon their neighbors. 29

I am told that tens of thousands of prayer meetings are being held on this day, and for that I am deeply grateful. We are a nation under God, and I believe God intended for us to be free. It would be fitting and good, I think, if on each Inauguration Day in future years it should be declared a day of prayer. 30

This is the first time in history that this ceremony has been held, as you have been told, on this West Front of the Capitol. Standing here, one faces a magnificent vista, opening up on this city's special beauty and history. At the end of this open mall are those shrines to the giants on whose shoulders we stand. 31

Directly in front of me, the monument to a monumental man: George Washington, Father of our country. A man of humility who came to greatness reluctantly. He led America out of revolutionary victory into infant nationhood. Off to one side, the stately memorial to Thomas Jefferson. The Declaration of Independence flames with his eloquence. 32

And then beyond the Reflecting Pool the dignified columns of the Lincoln Memorial. Whoever would understand in his heart the meaning of America will find it in the life of Abraham Lincoln. 33

Beyond those monuments to heroism is the Potomac River, and on the far shore the sloping hills of Arlington National Cemetery with its row on row of simple white markers bearing crosses or Stars of David. They add up to only a tiny fraction of the price that has been paid for our freedom. 34

Each one of those markers is a monument to the kinds of hero I spoke of earlier. Their lives ended in places called Belleau Wood, The Argonne, Omaha Beach, Salerno and halfway around the world on Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Pork Chop Hill, the Chosin Reservoir, and in a hundred rice paddies and jungles of a place called Vietnam. 35

Under one such marker lies a young man—Martin Treptow—who left his job in a small town barber shop in 1917 to go to France with the famed Rainbow Division. There, on the western front, he was killed trying to carry a message between battalions under heavy artillery fire. 36

We are told that on his body was found a diary. On the flyleaf under the heading, "My Pledge," he had written these words: "America must win this war. Therefore, I will work, I will save, I will sacrifice, I will endure, I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost, as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on me alone." 37

The crisis we are facing today does not require of us the kind of sacrifice that Martin Treptow and so many thousands of others were called upon to make. It does require, however, our best effort, and our willingness to believe in ourselves and to believe in our capacity to perform great deeds; to believe that together, with God's help, we can and will resolve the problems which now confront us. 38

And, after all, why shouldn't we believe that? We are Americans. God bless you, and thank you. 39

In Honor Of Our Presidents, Past, Present, & Future.....

I Thought I'd do something a bit different today. Give you a Historical Document, do me a favor, if you have children, read it to them. Read it to them on every 4th of July too.



The Declaration of Independence: A Transcription

IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

Shades of 1979 all over again.

Two Iranian ships, one a frigate, the other a shipping vessel, are set to pass through the Suez Canal on Monday.

This is the first time since 1979 that an Iranian ship has passed through the Suez Canal.

This is bringing into question by everyone in the region,
and the United States, what is Iran's motive.

Nothing really good can come from this.

Reports are the the ships are headed for Syria, but why ?

What is their end game ?

We can only hope it's for peaceful means, but I'm not holding out alot of hope for that.

Two very serious situations could come out of this.

A Third World War if Iran gets cocky and starts puffing it's chest or $8.00 @ gallon gasoline .

I hope and pray that nothing bad comes out of this, on the same note , I know Isreal is not comfortable with Iran playing games like this

NOTHING IS FREE IN LIFE ! ! !

Before I start today's blog, I wish to apologize for not writing a blog yesterday. I was attending a close friends funeral, and by the time I came home, I was in no shape to do a blog.

My father, who taught me many valuable lessons in life, taught me that "nothing is free in life".

Who in their wildest dreams would have thought that my father was a Pa. State worker and a member of AFSMCE, the state employees' union.

When unions were first organized, the  unions job was to eliminate sweat shops, keep 12 year olds restricted from working, and eliminate mandatory 70-80 hour work weeks. They were a true voice for the blue collar worker.

Flash-forward to 2011. Unions have re-written their rulebook. Now the unions are only interested in obtaining fairy tale contracts that are unrealistic, especially in the public sector. Bloated financial contracts, non-realistic health care and retirement packages and to top it off, this is my favorite , job security .

Enter the Governor of Wisconson, Gov. Scott Walker. His focus was to reduce the states' $3.6 BILLION BUDGET, WITHOUT RAISING TAXES. Everybody is going to have to endure a little bit of pain here.

First stop, Teachers Union Contracts, and for good reason.

 Gov. Walker wanted the teachers to pay 12.6% of their health insurance, they were paying  "0". The private sector avg. is 20%. He also wanted  teachers to pay 5.8% of their pensions , private sector avg.is 7.5%.

Remember, "NOTHING IS FREE IN LIFE AS THE UNIONS WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE.".

When the Wisconsin legislature went to vote on this there was not a Democrat to be found ! And you need at least one !

They all skipped town & the State so as not to have to vote.

Wusses !

The Gov. of Wisconsin had the State Police looking for them.

Wisconsin tax dollars at work.

Not sure how this is going to play out but it looks like Gov. Chris Christie is the only one not afraid to take on the corrupt Unions.

Patriot Act is a double edged sword.

As a Constitutional Conservative, the Patriot act infringes on my Constitutional Rights. As an American it does the same thing. At the same time, it has protected us too.

Ten years after it passed, I believe we are living in different times. I'm debating whether they are better or worse.

There has to be a way to craft a form of the Patriot Act that would intrude less on Americans and tighten the screws on non-Americans in this country and coming into this country.

I know that some would call this profiling, and there point would be?

If we keep close tabs on the visitors to this country, we might at times catch an American doing something he is doing to hurt our country.

Like I said, it's a double edged sword, no really perfect answer. I don't think innocent Americans should be caught up in this mess, but maybe that's the nature of the beast.

We need to find a healthy balance between civil liberties and a safe country, and then call that the New Patriot Act.

Arizona Sherriff Joe Arpaio may attempt U.S. Senate Run.

This has to be the feel good story so far for 2012!

Sherriff Joe Arpaio, known for running a tight ship in Maricopa county, is giving serious thought towards running for U.S. Senator.

He is best known for his aggressive approach on crime and immigration refers to himself as "America's Toughest Sherriff."

Mr. Arpaio is best known for his Tent Cities and for making his prisioners wear pink underwear and instituting chain gangs.

That would be enough for me to walk the strait and narrow!

Sherriff Arpaio would possibly be running against U.S. Rep. Jeff Flake, and Ben Quale, former U.S. Congressman & U.S Senator J.D. Hayworth & U.S. Rep. Trent Franks.

Given his notoriety and tough love approach, I think he would be a shoe in for U.S Senator.

He has my non-counting vote !

Is Berkeley, Calif. really part of the United States ? ? ?

I watched the news for 5 minutes this morning and I all ready had a story to blog about.

That, my friends has to be a record.

Our topic of conversation for today is Berkeley, Calif. As I type, my sources are trying to confirm if they are really a legitamate part of the United States of America.

It's a conservative bet that 80-90% of that city is Uber-Liberal, Socialist or Communist. I have no idea what the rest of the city considers itself.

Our fellow Americans, (I think) in Berkeley,  have opened their arms and their city to two so called "cleared" meaning safe detainees from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The Director of National Intelligence in December, had reported that 25% of those detainees released, have been confirmed or suspected of engaging in terrorism. That 25% were deemed safe, CLEARED! Get the picture !

Great Idea Berkeley ! ! !

It was the recommendation of Berkeleys Peace & Justice Commission, a part of city council to vote today on wether this should happen.

Here's an idea, let's send this Peace Commission (probably a bunch of radical 60's hippies) to Guantanamo Bay to live. that way we remain safe, and the Commission gets it's wish, TO LIVE WITH TERRORIST !

President Obama must have gone to the Al Gore School of Fuzzy Math !

OK, let me get this strait. B.H.O. (the President) has unveiled a $3.7 TRILLION Budget for 2012. Is this guy out of his KEWL-AID drinking mind ?

THIS COUNTRY IS BROKE........B-R-O-K-E- !

Now for the FUZZY MATH, (thanks Al Gore!) buried somewhere in the bowels of this draconian budget is a $1.1 TRILLION deficit savings.

But wait, this gets much, much better.

How do we get the $1.1 TRILLION in deficit savings over the next ten years? ( Which by the way, falls way short of the $4 TRILLION in deficit cuts, recommended in a December report given by his blue-ribbon deficit commission.)

We do it through SPENDING CUTS & TAX INCREASES !

I just stepped on my calculator, it doesn't do much good anymore anyway.

Now I'm a simple guy, didn't take any fancy math in High School, BUT, I still know how to add and subtract !

This FINANCIAL BOONDOGGLE STINKS ON ICE !

It raises the debt and the DEBT CEILING, which means that financial vortex were are in is increasing in size.

My friends and loyal readers, when is this insanity going to end.

Mr. Obama, being the devout Socialist that he is, has convinced me many times over that he wants to destroy our economic system and our Country, and he has a whole Army of czars helping him !

 The real crime is this Nation of sheep will re-elect him again, because he keeps blowing smoke up our skirts.

My prayers go out to this Great Nation that we can soon start implementing some changes, (DON'T RAISE THE DEBT CEILING , AND THROW OBAMA'S BUDGET IN FILE 13).

The big error from 2008 needs to be corrected too. Do not re-elect Mr. Obama.

I'm confident this Great Nation of ours can overcome  the powers that be.

Republicans ! DO NOT RAISE THE DEBT CEILING ! ! !

I know I can fully count on the Socialist-Liberal-Democratic party to vote to raise the Debt Ceiling.

Did you notice how I wrote REPUBLICANS ?

There's a good reason for that. The same reason that I switched from the Republican party to the Constitution party.

I think it's because there are too many RHINOS in the party, and more joining daily.

RHINO = (republicans in name only)

The Republicans (alot of them, not all of them) are accepting the idea they have to raise the Debt Ceiling.

 I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I have heard some covincing arguements against raising it,
and I'm positive they would not need to do it.

Take note, I'm going to keep beating this dead horse until someone get's the message,

This country doesn't have a revenue problem, it has a SPENDING problem

And the Republicans are just as guilty as the Democrats. That's how the current Tea Party was formed.

My only hope is, if the Republicans blow their chances at 2012 because of their financial irresponsibility, I hope a Tea Party canidate shellacs B.H.O.

Donald Trump for President ? ? ?

I know alot of people would be scared about having "The Donald" for President.

To prove how "off the wall" I am, I spent the better part of today disecting this idea.

I heard about it on Fox News this morning, He had spoke at the CPAC event, and he teased the audience with the idea of running for President.

At first, I thought, is it safe having a person with that much money becoming President ?

I really think that would depend on the person with the money. Let me explain.

Michael Bloomberg would scare me, for two reasons. First, he's all ready in Government and he makes really lousy decisions. Second, he's not sure what party he belongs to. I'll help him, hes a Democrat !

Mitt Romney would be a good President. Has govenment background, also has a business background. One problem, I'm not positive if his fortune was self made.

Donald Trump, I'm on the fence with. He's a self made Billionaire. That's not to say he hasn't made mistakes. He has. we all have, but when you're running for President, people tend to look a your mistakes differently.

Unless you are B.H.O., than any mistake, past, present, or future are completely permissible.

Enough about him.

Donald Trump has one quality all great Presidents have had. As a Businessman he has a gift for picking good people to work for him. He is also very shrewd. He pulls no punches.

We need a guy like Donald Trump to put this country back on top again.

I'm going to keep thinking about Donald. I know for a fact he can't do any worse than our current President.

One other thing I like about Donald Trump, He's not a politician, by trade anyway. The only thing I need more imformation on is, How "in bed" is he with the Unions. As a Real Estate developer this could outright disqualify him.

The last thing this country needs is another President who is sleeping with the Unions. That just won't pass the smell test.

Charity is wonderful, BUT..................

The United States of America is, or use to be the richest country country in the world.

It's hard to say if that is still true. we have a debt ceiling that is maxed, AND SHOULD NOT BE RAISED, IT SHOULD BE CAPPED.

So as the debate continues about where we should cut expenses, I know this sounds unthinkable, but hear me out one this.

We spend BILLIONS of dollars each and every year to help other nations, probably more than all the other giving nations put together. Yet our country is broke.

If a country has a disaster, that is a legitamate reason to give money to them. As long as a panel is set up to see where the money is going.

 Take Haiti for instance. Nobody has a clue where that money went, and the place still looks like a disaster area. Accountability is first and foremost before $1 is handed out.

Sending money to Afganastan or Egypt so they can have Arms to shoot back at us is a little over the top, THEY DON'T NEED OUR MONEY !

Like I said, I don't have a problem with charity, it's when the charity starts flying back at our soldiers in the shape of missles that I have a big problem with.

Congress should take a serious look at this, the countries we are dishing out BILLIONS of dollars to every year.
I think we could cut this boondoggle in half and still have enough for emergencies.

THESE ARE THE THINGS WE NEED TO GET RID OF IF WE WANT TO CAP THE DEPT CEILING !

It's the Debt Ceiling, Stupid !

The closer we get to the day of reckoning, that day when Congress will AGAIN give the Government more power and more money to spend, and we go further and further into dept, I wonder if this country really has a fighting chance

The Republicans are trying to offset this by demanding consessions from the Democrats. That's B.S. ! Asking for a guaranteed spending reduction or balanced budget admendment when you are borrowing more and more money is useless.

The only fix for the Debt Ceiling is to Cap the Debt Ceiling ! I know the Dems would have you believe the world would come to an end 5 minutes later, that's only because they would not be able to spend money like there is no tomorrow!

We could make this work, I cannot unerstand why the Republicans are caveing in on this issue.

If the Republicans give in and help raise the Debt Ceiling, 2012 will be the year of the Tea Party. The only people that will get re-elected are the people that didn't vote for the Debt Ceiling mess, deal or no deal.

Call the person you voted for in Washington D.C., Senator, Congressperson, call them and WARN them if they Vote for this, to start packing.

EGYPT : 1776 OR 1979 ? ? ?

Here we go again.

The KEWL-AID GUZZLING left leaning lame stream media is going on record saying the revolution playing out in EGYPT, is the harmless Muslim Brotherhood trying to bring freedom to EGYPT, jus like our forefathers brought to this country in 1776.

These Sunday Talking Heads are so far off the mark, it makes you wonder how they get to even open their mouths on TV on Sunday.

They actually believe the Muslim Brotherhood is harmless !

Unbelievable. They really better be careful what they wish for.

I feel like I'm in a time warp living 1979 all over again !

Not only  do we have a President who lacks valuable Foreign Policy experience, we have a radical Terrorist Group, The Muslim Brotherhood positioning themselves to take over EGYPT, just like Iran was overthrown in 1979.

Situations are so parallel, it;s almost spookey.One can only hope that the 1979 senerio doesn't play out. We all ready know 1776 isn't going to happen. It would create an unstable situation in the reigion, not to mention in the U.S. NOT many people know this , but the Muslim Brotherhood has countless cells in the U.S. They even have a University !
 
Let's pray this situation does not get out of hand.

Who does B.H.O. really want to be ? ? ?

I have this theory, I believe that B.H.O (A.K.A, President Barak Hussien Obama) is searching for some sort of identity.


 Not that he doesn't know who he is, he would like to have a former President to model himself after.

My advice would be to just be himself. But I think because of his lack of experience, he wants to be compared to a more experienced Presidential role model.

This is where it gets just absolutely roll on the floor funny. Not only has the left leaning lame stream media (ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and the ever unpopular MSNBC) been helping him find his role model, the almost extinct
printed press has been helping too.

I thought I'd help too.

I see B.H.O. being remembered as building his Presidency after one of these four Presidents : 1.)Pres.Teddy Roosevelt, Progressive leaning towards socialist. 2.) Pres.Woodrow Wilson, Socialist leaning towards Communist. 3.) Pres.Franklin D. Roosevelt, Socialist. or last but not least 4.) Pres. James Earl Carter, (JUST PLAIN CLUELESS).

B.H.O. will be remembered as a perfect blend of all four of these......(for lack of a better word) Presidents.

Now, the people that elected B.H.O, the Media, have centered on two Presidents. I think B.H.O inspired their first choice.
1.) Pres. Abraham Lincoln. Why anybody is comparing these two presidencies is beyond my comprehension. B.H.O. may look to him as a role model but that's where it ends. No comparison. 2.) Pres. Ronald Wilson Reagan. This just absolutely floors me ! ! ! What color is the sky in the world where anyone believes These two are similar, Really ? ? ?

There have never been two more polar opposites in Presidential history !

Pres. Reagan would be spinning in his grave if he knew what B.H.O. has done to this country. And yet, Newsweek (one of those dying print publications) put Pres. Reagan & B.H.O. on the front cover of their rag and wrote a fantasy article about the two of them.

B.H.O. will be a one term, one hit wonder. (wonder how he got their in the first place !) If not, we are in for what it would have been like if Pres. Jimmy Carter would have won two terms. Just think of that senario, If Hollywood wants a scary movie theme, HERE YA GO.....IT'S FREE !

Dear President Reagan, HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY ! ! !

Here's another one of those blogs that is going to be tough to write, because there are so many things I want to say, I don't know where to start.

On 06.05.04, America lost an important part of it's history.

We lost our 40th President of the United states, Ronald Wilson Reagan. Today, 02.06.11 would have been President Reagan's 100th Birthday and I believe it's important to mark the occasion.

Personally, I believe President Reagan was the best President in our nation's history.

That's my opinion.

I think that with time,  history will show I'm close to being right, if not spot on.

Here is a man that had a rough childhood, his father was an alcoholic.
 He went on to play football in high School, was a News Sportscaster. He ended up in California....Hollywood, where as an actor he starred in 53 films, and did work on the small screen too.
He was President of the Screen Actors Guild. As time went on, this Democrat switched parties to Republican, ended up running for Governor of California and served Two Terms.

In 1976, as America was licking it's wounds after Watergate, He ran in the Primary Election against then President Gerald Ford. President Ford went on to win the Primary, but lost to Gov. Jimmy Carter (D_GA).

We all remember how President Carter's 1st term fared.

Gov. Reagan won the Republican nomination for President and went on to beat President Carter easily in November of 1980.

Quick note here : This was my first chance to vote as I turned 18 in Nov.'77. Pretty easy to guess who I voted for.

President Reagan had a steep hill to climb, another quick note. He was elected at 69 years old and turned 70 a few weeks after Inauguration day.

He faced mind boggling inflation, double digit jnterest rates, skyrocketing unemployment, but this was a man who was ready for a challenge.

It took almost until his second term started, until we could enjoy the fruits of his labor. massive tax cuts, reduced Federal spending, contributed to his success.

There were a few bumps along the way. 69 days into his first term, a lone gunman, John Hinkley made an attempt on President's life, outside the Washington Hilton.

 As bullets were flying the President did get hit in the chest where a bullet did enter his lung. The President's Press Secratary James Brady received the worst injuries. He suffered life disabling head wounds. He has been wheelchair bound since that terrible day. President Reagan did make it through surgery, Thank God.

Another sad day in America that President Reagan helped to comfort us by giving a T.V. message.
Tuesday, 01.28.86 The Space Shuttle Challenger was set for another voyage.

It wasn't meant to be. 73 seconds into orbit, the Space Shuttle exploded before the eyes of a watching world.

America, and the world were numb, and President Reagan went on T.V. that evening to comfort everyone. And he did a good job.

President Reagan, the Great Communicator, just had a way of talking to us. Who could forget his "Mr.Gorbachev, Tear down this Wall" speech on 06.12.87, referring to the Berlin Wall.

President Reagan left office on 1.20.89 @ 77 years young.

Unfortunately, President Reagan's last public appearance was at the Republican Convention 1n 1992. The President was starting to show signs of Alzheimers Disease.

In 1994 He wrote a letter to the Citizens of the United States explaining his sad medical news. It seemed lke a "goodbye" letter, but I think he wanted to make people aware of this horrible disease.

This was a long blog. It was for a special person. I hope I held your interest.

Godspeed Mr. President, we miss you !

Governor Chris Christie, We need more Politicians like you !

Harry Truman once said, "I told them the truth, They just thought it was Hell !"

It's a simple concept really. Tell the people the truth, not just what they want to hear. Sometimes the truth hurts, but in the long run honesty will go alot further than B.S.

Most politicians are afraid of telling the truth because it might interfere with their re-election chances. Personally if a politician lies to me, he just lost my vote the next time around.

This is where Gov. Christie comes into the picture. He's a strait shooter, not afraid to tell it how it is.

From Unions to Planned Parenthood, if something doesn't add up, he shuts it down. There have been  people threatening to sue him, his response : Get in line and wait.

Gov. Christie has a legal background, former Attorney General of New Jersey. Normally that's a Red Flag for me, not here. I can't picture Gov. Christie using his Law background for adverse purposes.

Gov. Christie just seems like an average guy, family man, the neighbor next door king of guy. I like that.

I'd love to have the chance to sit down and have dinner with him, maybe a few beers, Hell I'd even pick up the tab.....Seriously. He's just that kind of guy.

I look foward to watching Gov. Christie fix New Jersey, one day at a time.

One can only hope the he takes on National Aspirations down the road. He says he's not ready yet. takes an honest guy to admit he needs a little more experience.
He'd be worth the wait.

Egypt : America is praying for you...........

When I was thinking about writing this post, I wanted to be careful what I wrote in it, and that's not normally my style.

I have had readers from Egypt read my blog, and you never really know who is doing the reading.

I want the good people of Egypt to know, America is behind you.

Needless to say, our government is walking a tight rope on this situation. It goes without saying that your government is going to have to face a transition at some point.

"When" is the keyword. I have an old saying I live by, "Timing is everything in life." Never could that saying be more true.

The timing by and which your government makes it's transition, will make all the difference as to who rules Egypt.

President Hosni Mubarak is really the one who holds the key to this situation. I commend him for not just taking off and fleeing the country. I honstly feel he doesn't want a bad element stepping in and taking over.

 Yet there will come a time, hopefully before September, that he will be able to make a smooth transition from office, with a temporary democratic government in place, until elections can take place.

I hope our government ( U.S. ) can offer some diplomatic solutions to Egypt. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has shown she has what it takes to help out in times like these.

Again, God Bless to all parties involved and hopefully Egypt will come away frome this as a continued ally of the United States of America.

ObamaSCare on Life Support, Will the Supreme Court Pull The Plug ?

"It is difficult to imagine that a nation which began, at least in part, as the result of opposition to a British mandate giving the East India Company a monopoly and imposing a nominal tax on all tea sold in America would have set out to create a government with the power to force people to buy tea in the first place. If Congress can penalize a passive individual for failing to engage in commerce, the enumeration of powers in the Constitution would have been in vain for it would be ‘difficult to perceive any limitation on federal power’ and we would have a Constitution in name only."

That make two Federal Judges, Judge Roger Vinson of Flordia's Northern District,U.S. District Court and Henry Hudson of Virginia, found that Section 1501 of the act, which forces all Americans to buy government-approved health insurance policies, "falls outside the boundary of Congress’ Commerce Clause authority and cannot be reconciled with a limited government of enumerated powers."

But Judge Vinson didn't stop there, concluding that "the individual mandate and the remaining provisions are all inextricably bound together in purpose and must stand or fall as a single unit." Accordingly, Vinson concluded: "Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire Act must be declared void."

Judge Vinson, In reaching the decision to strike down the entirety of Obamacare,  used the Obama Administration’s own words against them, noting that their own filings with the court claimed that the law’s other provisions “cannot be severed from the [individual mandate].” In addition, Judge Vinson notes that Congress could have easily included a severability clause in the legislation if they wanted to, that an earlier version of Obamacare did indeed have such a clause, but Congress intentionally removed the severability clause in the final bill.

Judge Vinson’s decision is a body blow to Obamacare that the law will never recover from. The New York Times claims the decision “even[s] the score at 2 to 2,” and The Washington Post “reports”: “Four suits have now been decided on their merits—two rulings upholding the law and, with Monday’s decision, two finding all or part of it unconstitutional.” Nothing could be further from the truth. Only two Obamacare cases have moved passed preliminary motions and reached the merits of the case: Judge Hudson’s Virginia decision and Judge Vinson’s decision yesterday. More importantly, the parties involved in yesterday’s case make it unique. A majority of all states in the union (26) have joined forces with the National Federation of Independent Businesses to challenge this intolerable act.

Even more troubling for the Obama Administration, by granting declaratory relief to the parties involved (which as mentioned above includes 26 states), Judge Vinson has in effect stopped implementation of Obamacare dead in its tracks.

 But America’s friends of liberty and opponents of Obamacare cannot rest here. It was not a coincidence that within an hour of Judge Vinson’s ruling, Senator Jim DeMint (R–SC) announced he had secured signatures from all 47 Republican Senators on a bill to repeal Obamacare in the Senate. The House already repealed Obamacare earlier this January.

Obamacare is not just a judicial question. It is a fundamental question about what kind of country we want to live in. Do we want an America of limited government and vibrant economic growth? Or do we want to move toward an unlimited European-style welfare state

Finally ! A Politician Did Not Disappoint Me !

It took one day shy of two weeks.........and a prominent politician in Wasington D.C. proved a point I was trying to make.

On 01.17.11, I posted a blog about how well citizens and Government officals knew The Constitution and other political documents.

On Sunday, Sen. Charles Schumer, went on CNN'S State of the Union program to let his Republican colleagues know that the U.S. Government had Three Branches of Government, The Senate, The House of Represenatives,  and the Executive Branch.

HUH ??????

I think Sen. Schumer should sign up for Rep. Michelle Bachmann's Constitution course for the Freshman Congressman in the house.

Chuck ! We ( the U.S. ) have a Judical Branch, The House & Senate are one Branch (Legislative). Just for the record, you are part of the Legislative Branch.

I hope the Senator has everything together now, he is as you know A LAWMAKER SWORN TO UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION WHICH HE KNOWS VERY LITTLE ABOUT !
