Harry Truman once said, "I told them the truth, They just thought it was Hell !"
It's a simple concept really. Tell the people the truth, not just what they want to hear. Sometimes the truth hurts, but in the long run honesty will go alot further than B.S.
Most politicians are afraid of telling the truth because it might interfere with their re-election chances. Personally if a politician lies to me, he just lost my vote the next time around.
This is where Gov. Christie comes into the picture. He's a strait shooter, not afraid to tell it how it is.
From Unions to Planned Parenthood, if something doesn't add up, he shuts it down. There have been people threatening to sue him, his response : Get in line and wait.
Gov. Christie has a legal background, former Attorney General of New Jersey. Normally that's a Red Flag for me, not here. I can't picture Gov. Christie using his Law background for adverse purposes.
Gov. Christie just seems like an average guy, family man, the neighbor next door king of guy. I like that.
I'd love to have the chance to sit down and have dinner with him, maybe a few beers, Hell I'd even pick up the tab.....Seriously. He's just that kind of guy.
I look foward to watching Gov. Christie fix New Jersey, one day at a time.
One can only hope the he takes on National Aspirations down the road. He says he's not ready yet. takes an honest guy to admit he needs a little more experience.
He'd be worth the wait.
